Do you have a ferret that you can no longer keep?
Although we can not always take them into our system, we can network with people that have contacted us that are looking to add a ferret needing a home to their family. Or, at the very least, add them to our database or offer other alternatives
BE AWARE: We maintain the same high standards with placing ferrets in this manner as we would if adopting from our own Shelter and a screening process is required. The best interest of THE FERRET is our top prioraty.
If your ferret is not up to date on their shots or is unknown, a donation to the Shelter to cover the cost to us, or the new owner, is required. Any equipment that you have (IE: cage, bedding, food, etc.) must go with your ferret to their new home.
Any pet is a life long commitment, but we do understand that sometimes unforseen things happen in one's life that force you to give up you pet in their best interest. If this is your last and ONLY option, we are here to help.
Are you looking to adopt a ferret?
If we don't have any ferrets needing homes in our Shelter, we can certainly put you in contact with other Shelters, the local Humane Society or search our database of people that are lookin for homes for ferrets that they can no longer keep.
BE AWARE: We maintain the same high standards with placing ferrets in this manner as we would if adopting from our own Shelter and a screening process is required. The best interest of THE FERRET is our top prioraty. We want to be sure that every ferret we place is going to a home where it will be loved and well cared for and that understands that they are a life long commitment ... THEIRS ... through sickness and health and that the new parent is prepred.
